Free entry (no cover charge) for AJM members at Dizzy’s Jazz Club gigs this week:

1. Thursday, 17th March – Southern Stars. An event that will send you swinging! Southern Stars big band take to Dizzy’s stage with a selection of tunes you don’t want to miss out on.
2. Friday, 18th March – Wilbur Wilde’s Blowout. Wilbur has returned to jazz performances with a stunning new line-up of “Blowout”.
3. Saturday, 19th March – Roger Clark Quartet with David Cotter. Roger Clark is arguably the best alto saxophonist in Melbourne. Having played with almost every jazz outfit in the city, Roger is well known across the board. Roger will be performing with his quartet, featuring renowned pianist Rory Clark and San Francisco’s Paige Smith on bass. The quartet will be joined by David Cotter on vocals.
4. Wednesday, 23rd March – Dizzy’s Big Band. Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band perform at Dizzy’s, playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell.
