ARIA nominated jazz vocalist and violinist, Fem Belling has exploded onto the Melbourne Jazz Scene. With her exquisite, versatile voice and powerful stage presence, she lends authenticity, creativity and something special to jazz.

Born in South Africa to musical parents, Belling has performed with many of the jazz greats from South Africa, London (Ronnie Scotts) and Australia including Gregory Porter, Joe Ruberto, The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, John Foreman, The Grand Wazoo, JMQ, Rory Clarke, George Washingmachine and she can be seen in Melbourne’s top music venues.

Belling earned a ‘Best Leading Actress’ Green Room Nomination for her role in Genesis to Broadway and recently played Liza Minnelli opposite Todd McKenney in The Boy From Oz.

Her show here at Knox will demonstrate the influence of artists such as Rachelle Ferrel, Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Shirley Horn and Manhattan Transfer.
